Ashano

Role : Art Director + Graphic Designer + Marketing + Social Media + UX Designer

Ashano was born with the idea to create monthly subscription surprise cultural boxes for children from 6 to 12 years old. Each box would be designed based on a specifiec theme. As the art director, I was included in the creation of Ashano from the very first steps. Making decisions on how to represent the brand, what to include in each monthly box, making decisions for every theme as well, and managing social media and marketing campaigns were my main responsibilities.

Brand Identity

Ashano in Farsi consists of two words. "Asha" means friendship message, and "no" means new and fresh. The proposed logos were based on the meaning of Ashano.

The final version of the logo emphasized on the suprise aspect of Ashano boxes. I also intended to design a logo close to children handwriting to create a sence of friendship.

I also made a digital painting for their stickers which would give a special identity to their packaging.

Social Media

I was responsible for making content for their social media, namely Instagram and Twitter. I made inclusive photos of each month's contents. I also made a short stop-motion animation to introduce the upcoming month's theme. Making harmony between each post on social media was my priority.

Marketing Campaigns

Ashano target audience were children. That is the reason most of the marketing campaigns that I ran were also with the help of children. There was call-to-action for each Instagram posts dedicated to marketing purposes. I made a list of questions for promotional videos and interviewed several children to make a video for introducing Ashano to the world. I also ran multiple contests for children, which would increase our engagement on social media
